MnDRIVE + Barr: Innovating environmental remediation for Minnesota’s water economy

Event Date:
Friday, November 15, 2019 - 11:00am to 1:45pm
a co-hosted university/industry engagement and project ideation session

This event is open to any UMN faculty (and lab post-docs/grad students) and Barr employees and interested clients.

Registration closes on Friday, November 8, 2019.
Barr will present about emerging issues in environmental remediation needing further research, and the larger group will collaboratively discuss possible solutions and future projects. The program will include short problem statements, discussion time, poster session**, and lunch.

**UPDATE - The poster session will be during the final hour of the event (and will overlap with lunch) ... so eat, view posters, and mingle. The poster session is primarily meant to be a venue for grad students and postdocs within your lab to showcase recent or ongoing remediation work. Each lab may submit more than one poster, and to accommodate we have updated the registration form so that each registrant (ie. the student or postdoc presenting the poster) can submit a poster. Posters should be standard size of 2' x 3'.

Location: Barr Engineering Co.
4300 Market Pointe Drive, Suite 200
Minneapolis, MN 55435 (map
