Over the past 18 months, the COVID pandemic has impacted how we as the MnDRIVE Community engaged and interacted with each other, and shared research information. That is why we thought it would be valuable to host an informal "Research Over Coffee" gathering that allowed some of the newest UMN faculty an opportunity to introduce themselves and to briefly share a bit about their research. We invite UMN faculty, staff, and students, as well as community partners to attend.
On November 17, please join the Zoom conversation to hear from the following researchers:
Luke Busta - Asst. Professor, Chemistry & Biochemistry - Swenson UMD
Natasha Wright - Asst. Professor, Mechanical Engineering - CSE UMN
Boya Xiong - Asst. Professor, Civil, Environmental, and Geo-Engineering - CSE UMN
Judy Yang - Asst. Professor, Civil, Environmental, and Geo-Engineering - CSE UMN
Jiwei Zhang - Asst. Professor, Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering - CFANS UMN
Each speaker will give a 5 minute lightning talk about a project or research area of their choice, with a minute or two for questions after each. The hour will wrap up with 15 minutes or so of further Q&A and discussion.
